T-Mobile has slashed the price of LG G4 to $349 as it is pegged to start selling the LG G5.
T-Mobile is soon going to start with the LG G5 preorders in the coming weeks. It has not lowered the price of the LG G4 to $349. Speculations are rife that the carrier has reduced the LG G4 price in order to clear its stocks, Phone Arena reported.

One should be aware of the fact that the carrier has only slashed the Metallic Gray variant of the LG G4. It is a SIM-locked version, but users can approach T-Mobile to unlock it.
Buyers can either purchase it by making full payment or it can be acquired through an installment plan from T-Mobile. Users are not required to make any down payment, but make monthly payments of $14.59 for 24 months. The T-Mobile LG G4 has been upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it supports the advanced 12 LTE and VoLTE bands from the carrier. Android Police reported.
The LG G4 sports a curved design and features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display that supports Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset and 3 GB of RAM.
The Snapdragon 808 is the same SoC that can be found powering up other flagships of 2016 such as Moto X Pure Edition (2015) and Microsoft Lumia 950. The LG G4 comes in only one internal storage version of 32 GB. The microSD card slot supports up to 128 GB of memory card.
For photography, it is equipped with a stellar camera of 16 MP that comes with features like 3-axi OIS, laser autofocus and LED flash. For shooting selfies, it comes with a front-facing snapper of 8 MP. It is packed with a removable battery of 3000 mAh capacity that carries support for wireless charging.
The LG G5 was announced in the previous month to succeed the LG G4. It features a smaller IPS LCD display of 5.3-inch that supports Quad HD resolution.
The model number H850 of LG G5 is available across the world. It features the highly powerful Snapdragon 820 chipset that is coupled by 3 GB of RAM. For Latin America, LG will be rolling out the Snapdragon 652 variant that is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM.
A dual camera setup that contains 16 MP and 8 MP cameras are present on the rear side of the smartphone. The front side of the LG G5 houses an 8 MP selfie camera. The smartphone sports a metallic modular design that allows users to easily swap accessories for added features. It is packed with a 2800 mAh battery.
