One needs to be aware of the fact that the update does not carry adoptable storage support which means that users will not be able to use an additional microSD for more storage. In October last year, Sony had started the Xperia Beta Program for two devices, Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact and in the previous month it also included the Xperia Z2 smartphone. The owners of these smartphones can test the latest Android build in its beta edition and provide feedback to the developers. Rumors are rife that the beta program will soon come to an end and the Android 6.0 will be soon hitting all the users of Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2.
