Currently, Xiaomi Mi5 is using the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, while other devices are using Android 5.1 Lollipop, according to International Business Times.
The notable changes that users may be able to notice in the MIUI 7.2 ROM are enhancements on the Lockscreen, Status and Notification bars, as well as, animations on the Home Screen. Also, one vantage point of this update is that files can be easily transferred to a new Mi device that uses Mi Mover app, as well as, Find device app. The MIUI 7.2 ROM was also able to eliminate all bug issues and add other optimizations. The updated apps incorporated in MIUI 7.2 ROM are Music, File Explorer, Mi Drop, Backup, Cleaner, Weather and Mi Cloud.
