For those who are unaware, 343 Industries are the guys who develops Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, so it is safe to say First Strike Games is beaming talent. At the moment, we can't say what these guys are planning to work on exactly, but we do know it will be multiplayer focused and will be released on both PC and console.

Focusing much on multiplayer is not a surprise because this is where the video game industry is headed right now. The most popular games are arguably multiplayer based or have some aspects of multiplayer. Furthermore, it is easier to monetize a multiplayer title beyond the base price.

Who are the guys behind First Strike Games?

We understand from the studio's official page that they are CEO and design director Kevin Franklin, COO and executive producer Brian Lemon, and CTO and technical director Doug Barnes.

The team is currently seeking investors and other entities to help with its rise. Don't be surprised if Microsoft jumps onboard to have an exclusive hold on the team's first video game.

It should be interesting to see what these guys will come up with in the coming months and years. Don't expect to hear or see anything at this year's E3, but E3 2017 might see the reveal of the first trailer, and with a release date set for 2018. It could be earlier, but seeing as the team hasn't began working on anything concrete at this time, the game will likely launch in 2018 for sure.

The question is, can this company create games on the same quality as Halo and other top shooters such as Destiny? Only time will tell.

Would you be interesting in playing a multiplayer game from a team that helped with bringing Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians to market? If so, then keep an eye out because we'll definitely be keeping tabs on this studio.
