7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016)
The 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) is now officially listed on Samsung's website.
The 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) tablet was first spotted before Mobile World Congress (2016) event that was held in the previous month. Samsung did not showcase the tablet at the tech event where it unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones. However, the rumored tablet is now official as it has been listed on Samsung's website, Phone Arena reported.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A with 7-inch display is the newest edition to the Galaxy A Tab line of tablets from the company. The Galaxy A Tab series already includes 9.7-inch and 8-inch editions of tablets. Even though the new 7-inch tablet is listed on the website, it does not mention its pricing.
Some online retailers have listed the Wi-Fi only model of the tablet for about $188. However, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab A tablet is expected to be available in Wi-Fi and 4G LTE edition as well. It is speculated to be priced around $245.
The 7-unch Galaxy Tab A (2016) is fitted with a 7-inch TFT display that carriers support for 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution. It is powered by Exynos 3475 chipset from Samsung that includes a quad-core processor that works at processing speed of 1.3 GHz coupled with Mali-T720 graphics. The SoC is supported by 1.5 GB of RAM.
The native storage available on the Galaxy Tab A (2016) is 8 GB. It will also feature a dedicate storage slot for supporting up to 200 GB of microSD card. The rear camera of 7-inch Galaxy Tab A is 5 MP whereas the one sitting on the front that can be used for snapping selfies will be of 2 MP.
The device will arrive preinstalled with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It is packed with a battery of 4000 mAh that is capable of supporting up to 9 hours of continuous streaming video and 100 hours of continuous music.
The 7-inch Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a slim profile of 8.7-inch and it weighs 283 grams. For connectivity, the tablet is packed with features like Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and v4.0 Bluetooth. Since it is a low priced tablet, it will be targeted towards emerging markets. As of writing, there is no confirmation on whether the tablet will be released in the U.S., BGR reported.
