Remember that little issue with Lindsay Lohan and her plan to sue Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive over a character in Grand Theft Auto 5? The court system says the suit will go forward.

We're not sure what will come of the proceedings once everything is up and running, but already things are not looking well for Lindsay Lohan. From what we have come to understand from Polygon's report, folks on the web are doubting her, and are saying she's just doing this for the money.

For those who are unaware, the actress claimed that a character in Grand Theft Auto 5 shared her likeness. The character is known as Lacey Jonas, a drugged up and delusional actress who gets too much attention from the paparazzi. Well, that sounds a lot like Lindsay Lohan to us, but it is probably not enough to win a court case.

The real reason why Lindsay is going after Grand Theft Auto 5, is because of how Lacey Jonas poses in the game. The pose is similar to a photo Lohan taken a few years back. In this image, she had the peace sign up along with a cellphone. Furthermore, the was wearing red bikini and matching bra, the same color outfit Lacey Jonas wears in the game.

Yes, she might have a case here, but folks on Reddit were quick to shoot it down because according to them, the character is more similar to Kate Upton. However, Reddit is not the judge in this lawsuit, so it will now all depend on whether or not the court shares her concern or if they cool this flame before it gets out of hand.

Another thing we need to point out is the fact that Lacey Jonas doesn't have freckles, but who knows, that might not matter in the long run.

We'll be keeping an eye on this lawsuit as it happens because if the past is anything to go by, Take-Two Interactive won't take this lawsuit lightly. The company will come fully prepared, especially since Grand Theft Auto is its biggest money making franchise of all time.
