However, Galaxy S7 pales in comparison with Galaxy A9 in the leaked video. GS Marena mention that Galaxy A9 has a similar design as S7 but what sets it apart is the gigantic 6-inch screen. Additionally, Samsung Galaxy A9 has a more sophisticated look with an all-aluminum build.
Samsung Galaxy A9 has impressive specs, being equipped with a 13 MP camera with optical stabilization, 8 MP front camera for better selfies, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 32 GB expandable storage, fingerprint sensor, 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 with Adreno 510 and 3 GB RAM, a 1080p AMOLED screen and 4000mAh battery.
NDTV reported that Galaxy A9 is available for sale in China at CNY 3,199 which translates to $ 490 or Rs. 32,500 approximately. Samsung Galaxy A9 is available in pink, white and gold color variants within China. Samsung is yet to reveal pricing and availability outside China.
Digital Trends tags it as the biggest addition to Galaxy A series. This is because Galaxy A9 has a large screen, comes with a fingerprint scanner, supports Samsung Pay, has longer battery life and its metal build is scruff-free. However, the only disappointment is that Galaxy A9 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop instead of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Nevertheless, world outside China is eagerly awaiting its release. Review websites claim that Galaxy A9 may spell serious competition for other Samsung phones slated for release this year.
