The next adventure for "Far Cry Primal" will be all about exploring the early ages of mankind alone. Ubisoft has confirmed that its upcoming "Far Cry" title will not have any co-op and multiplayer component.

Ubisoft's decision to focus only on the single-player campaign was confirmed by Community Manager Jason Paradise. The goal was reportedly to ensure that the team can deliver the best experience possible for fans, Gamerant reported.

For most part, Ubisoft has also emphasized that the "Far Cry" series has not really been utilizing its multiplayer experience for the most part. In fact, multiplayer has not even been the main appeal of "Far Cry 4."

Additionally, the developer's aim was to ensure an intact campaign, considering how the move towards the earlier age before technology can prove some interesting points of differences from previous "Far Cry" titles.

The developer's efforts in putting together a great game is not exactly far off the mark. Ubisoft had previously shared that in its aim to go for historic accuracy, the team had even worked with linguists who have specialized in the proto-European language. According to the developer, the team had wanted to ensure that the game was immersive in every way. That also meant ensuring that the impressions from the experience are in sync with the game's period.

"They were [speaking] in English... and it felt very not immersive," said "Far Cry Primal" Creative Director Jean-Christophe Guyot to GamesRadar.

The solution that the team came up with is the crafting of the language with the help of linguists who specialized in this era's language. Wenja language was the end product of the team's effort. The team had gone back further so that the language would be simplified.

At the same time, the developer shared that the experience of recreating the language was something of a big achievement and source of interest. Since the language has not been spoken for a thousand years, the creators' act of piecing the language together had been a great experience all in all.

"Far Cry Primal" is reportedly slated for a Feb. 23 launch. It will come to the PS4 and Xbox one first, before coming to the PC platform on March.
