Moto X (2016)
A leaked image of Motorola Moto X (2016) has surfaced. Some of its key specs have been revealed.
Motorola is rumored to be working on a newer model for the Moto X Style (aka Moto X Pure Edition 2015) form last year. This year, Motorola will be releasing like Moto X, Moto G and Moto E. However, these phones are likely to carry Lenovo branding. A HelloMotoHK user on Google Plus has revealed a leaked photo of Moto X (2016).

Recently, the Moto X (2016) was seen on Zauba, an import-export tracking site from India. The listing showed that the handset carries a Moto X3 moniker and it features a 5-inch screen. It also revealed that it is a single SIM GSM smartphone. The newly leaked photo seems to show reveal some of the features of the upcoming Moto X smartphone.
The Moto X (2016) leaked image shows that it may feature a 5-inch screen. Below the display, it seems to sport a fingerprint sensor. The arrival of fingerprint scanner on Moto X and even other Moto phones like Moto G (2016) and Moto E (2016) have been confirmed by Chen Xudong, the Senior VP of the company, Phone Arena reported. The leaked photo also hints that the smartphone will be coming with a USB Type-C slot at its bottom side.
The image seems to belong to testing model of Moto X3 as there is a Moto Batwing logo on it. Motorola is known for using such a logo on its prototype models. The upper right corner of the Moto X (2016) seems to sport a frontal LED flash for its selfie camera, GSM Arena reported.
In December 2015, a leaked photo of the rear panel of Moto X (2016) had surfaced. It suggested that the smartphone will be sporting a full metallic chassis. The rear camera is also expected to come with a major upgrade as the rear panel seems to house a larger cutout for the main camera. The rear shooter is expected to come with features like dual-tone LED and OIS (optical image stabilization).
Like most 2016 flagship phones, the Moto X3 is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4 GB of RAM. It is expected to get announced in the third quarter of this year.
