Crown and Council is a geo-political drama that involves conquering kingdoms. Players are required to build, expand, and defend their kingdoms while trying to conquer their enemies, according to Tech Times.
Gold is the game's digital currency. It is used to grow and expand a kingdom by building forts, launching naval attacks, and building universities.
The game includes 75 maps and also allows players to build maps into the game.
Crown and Council is a small and old-school-looking game that is easy to learn. However, it is also very challenging to win.
Mojang states in the game's announcement that gamers have big decisions to make. For example, a player could spend all their cash on universities with the hope that they will be hard to stop late in the game, or do quick land-grabs to earn an early edge.
Mojang's new game continues a Minecraft tradition of having one developer, according to Engadget. . Meanwhile, Minecraft was created by Markus "Notch" Persson who was also the founder of Swedish video game developer Mojang.
Crown and Council is available on Steam and is free to download. It runs on any desktops with 1GB of RAM and 300MB of storage space.
