Google Nexus 5X during its release in October 2015 cost $379 for the 16GB variant and $429 for the 32GB model. Techno trading house, eBay's top-rated seller, is selling the 16GB model for just $240, with free shipping.

The Google Nexus 5X will be in its most affordable price tag ever. However, the deal is exclusive for GSM networks only like AT&T and T-Mobile. Its 4G compatible, on the other hand, is available via AT&T, Phone Arena reported.

While eBay's offer is free of any shipping fee, the device does not come with a warranty. This may mean that if a user drops the device and crack a component, the repair will be shouldered by the buyer. Reportedly, those who are planning to buy need to spend for a device protection plan, to be able to prepare for any untoward state upon and after arrival.

The Google Nexus 5X, despite the non-warranty policy, is a mid-range device with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone became a launch vehicle for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Also, eBay offers a 30-day replacement or money back policy, although the buyer will have to shoulder the expenses for the return shipping. Also, a 20 percent fee for restocking may be applied.
