Tesla Cars
Electric car manufacturer Tesla is transforming not only the way consumers perceive the car industry, but also exerts effort in making the world a better way to live in. As part of the company's effort to maintain acceptable air quality level, Tesla announced its newest air filtration system called Bioweapon Defense Mode.

The new filtration system launched by Tesla can protect passengers and drivers from extreme pollutants that are present in the environment. This new feature is especially helpful when living in highly congested or polluted cities.
Tesla tested this new Bioweapon Defense Mode on its flagship car, the Model X. Tesla wanted to demonstrate how much better its new filtration feature is compared to the ones installed in conventional cars.
Tesla took the Model X car to a highly controlled facility where it was subjected to several tests. The car was sealed in an envelope of extremely dangerous pollutants. More than 1000 micrograms per cubic meter of PM2.5 pollutants were pumped into the test chamber. The pollutants being pumped should be deadly enough for average human beings
When the Bioweapon Defense Mode was turned on, the air inside the Tesla Model X was completely scrubbed of any pollutants in less than two minutes. After the test was done, Tesla checked the interior of the car and claims that no detectable level of pollutant were detected.
According to Geek, aside from filtering the air inside the car's cabin, Tesla's new filtration system can also help reduce pollutants outside the car by as much as 40 percent.
In a statement acquired by BGR, Tesla said, "Inspired by the air filtration systems used in hospitals, clean rooms, and the space industry, we developed a HEPA filtration system capable of stripping the outside air of pollen, bacteria, and pollution before they enter the cabin and systematically scrubbing the air inside the cabin to eliminate any trace of these particles."
Tesla added that its new air filtration system is at least a hundred times more efficient than conventional filters installed in most cars. To further demonstrate the capabilities of its new filtration system, Tesla published a video on Twitter that highlight how air pollution level inside the Model X test car is reduced when the Bioweapon Defense Mode is turned on.
