Smartwatches are gradually paving its way to the bigger market, as manufacturers like Samsung has been continuously making improvements and enhancements to their own version of smartwatches. Samsung Gear S3 is said to be the latest smartwatch flagship of the company for 2016, which comes in an improved design and functions.

As reported previously, Samsung is collaborating with de Grisogono for the design of their latest smartwatch models. The partnership between the South Korean tech giant and the Swiss watch maker aims to create luxurious and innovative smartwatches this year.

As far as the release of this smartwatch is concerned, enthusiasts and analysts are torn if its going to be either September 2016 or March 2017. Looking at the pattern where Samsung Gear S2 was previously introduced, most likely the launch of Gear S3 could be somewhere in September, which will definitely make a statement that Samsung is using patterns in terms of releasing their flagships, according to 9 to Five.

Going back to the collaboration, De Grisogono recently announced that they will be working with Samsung to create a luxurious, top of the line and extravagant smartwatch to be released later this year. Although Samsung has not yet confirmed any information about this, de Grisogono was the one who announced it publicly. Hence, Gear S3 is currently the rumored name of the luxurious smartwatch. There were rumors stating that the smartwatch will soon be introduced in Berlin. where the IFA is going to be held this September.

De Grisogono also revealed that Samsung shows interest in entering the ultra-luxury market for smartwatches' accessories. Apple, on the other hand, is already catering smartwatches to the people who belongs to the upper society, which Samsung also wants to meddle with the same client range, Pocket Lint reported.

On other news about Samsung, the company recently released Gear S2 in Baselworld last month, with the smartwatch covered by diamond. The Korean tech giant also co-created Gear S2 with de Grisogono. Pricing-wise, Gear S2 is selling at $15,000, which could probably the same price range of Gear S3.
