Huawei Honor 8 With Dual Rear Cameras and Budget Honor 5A Smartphones Go Official in Malaysia
Chinese mobile manufacturer Huawei has launched two smartphones, the Honor 8 and Honor 5A, in Malaysia.
According to Phone Radar, the flagship model Honor 8 has a 5.2-inch full high-definition display. It runs on Android Marshmallow with the company's EMUI v4.1 on top. It is powered by a Kirin 950 chipset. It comes with a 4 GB of RAM and either 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage variants. It sports a hybrid dual SIM that can be extended up to 128 GB.

The Honor 8 features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a dual-camera setup with two 12-megapixel cameras on the front. It is packed with a 3000 mAh battery. The 32GB model comes in midnight black and pearl white colors for RM 1699 ($416/around Rs. 27,676), and the 64GB version comes in sunrise gold or sapphire blue colors for RM 1899 ($465/approximately Rs. 30,933), Stuff reported.
The Honor 5A has a 5.5-inch high-definition touchscreen display. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system pre-installed with Mali 450 GPU and EMUI 4.1 on top. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 620 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.2 GHz. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The Honor 5A supports several connectivity options such as 4G LTE, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi. It comes in black and white color for RM 599 ($146/around Rs. 9757) and gold color for RM 629 ($154/approximately Rs. 10,246).
Both the Honor 8 and Honor 5A smartphones can be purchased on Vmall or Lazada as well as DirectD and SenHeng.
