Apple has revealed the launch date of its latest smartphones - the iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus - in India.
The US-based global tech giant is gearing to launch its much-awaited smartphones iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the country on October 7. The latest Apple devices, which would be available in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants, are expected to be priced at Rs 60,000 ( approx. $903) in India.

"Phone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will also be available to customers in India beginning Friday, October 7," Apple said in a press release.
Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at a surprise launch event in San Francisco on Tuesday.
"It's the best iPhone that we have ever created. It makes all the things you do every day so much better," Cook said at the launch. Cook also unveiled wireless headphones - AirPods - for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The launch event also saw the introduction of the next generation Apple Watch.
The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus would be available from September 16. Customers from the United States, China, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, and European countries can place pre-orders for the device from September 9 onward.
The newest Apple smartphones would be available in black, gold, and silver color. The iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch display, while the iPhone 7 Plus sports a 5.5-inch display. Both devices are powered by the Apple A10 Fusion processor and run on the iOS 10 operating system. The iPhone 7 Plus is equipped with dual 12-megapixel rear cameras while the iPhone 7 has a 12-megapixel camera.
