The Huawei Honor 8 Smart smartphone has been unveiled in India.
According to Phone Radar, the Huawei Honor 8 Smart is a variant of the most awaited dual-camera Honor 8 smartphone. It has a 5.2-inch full high-definition in-cell touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 424 ppi. It is powered by an octa-core 64-bit Kirin 650 chipset clocked at a speed of 2 GHz.

The Huawei Honor 8 Smart comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage out of the box, which can be extended via a microSD card. It features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting and selfies with an f/2.0 aperture, NDTV reported.
The Huawei Honor 8 Smart is a metal smartphone. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with Huawei's EMUI 4.1 skin. It is packed with a 3000 mAh non-removable battery that can last for 1.4 days.
The Huawei Honor 8 Smart is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone. The connectivity options of the device include Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) without FM radio. It has sensors such as an ambient sensor, light, accelerometer, and a proximity sensor.
The Huawei Honor 8 Smart is priced at $299.38 (around Rs. 19,999). It will be available on Flipkart, Amazon India, Honor Store, and major retail stores across India in black, white, and gold color.
