The Gionee P7 Max smartphone is now available for purchase in India.
The Gionee P7 Max has been launched in India at a price of around $210 ( Rs. 13,999).
The newest smartphone from the Chinese company will compete with likes of Xiaomi's Mi Max and Lenovo' Zuk Z1 in India. The Gionee P7 Max is available in gold and gray-blue color at Gionee's retail stores across India.

"We are really excited to present the new P7 Max," Gionee India's managing director Arvind R Vohra said. "At this price point, it will be a perfect buy for customers this festive season. This phone has specially been created with a vision to give you more in less as it delivers a flawless experience along with great design and amazing features."
Gionee P7 Max Specifications and Features
The mid-range Gionee smartphone is powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core MT6595 processor. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Amigo 3.2 operating system.
The Gionee P7 Max sports a 5.5-inch high definition IPS display. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB. The device comes with a 13 megapixels rear camera along with a five megapixels selfie camera. The dual SIM smartphone packs a powerful 3,100 mAh battery and comes with cutting edge features like a smart bright screen, double click wake-up, pause alarm, and black screen gesture.
The Shenzhen-headquartered Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently unveiled the selfie-centric Gionee S6s smartphone, and the virtual-reality focused Gionee S6 Pro in India. Both devices are reportedly getting a good response in the country.
"The S6 Pro is a perfect amalgamation of style and performance and is designed for the urbane selfie generation," the company said in a statement.
