K Fund has a huge and diverse team with a large number of people who are quite reputed in the Spanish start-up sector, including Iñaki Arrola (Coches.com, Vitamina K), Carina Szpilka (ING Direct), Ian Noel (Bonsai Venture Capital), Ignacio Larrú (IE Business School), Pablo Ventura (JME Ventures), and Jaime Novoa (Novobrief, Tech.eu).
K Fund has a running philosophy of targeting early-stage start-ups usually based on the internet and providing them with monetary support while helping them to adjust to the industry.
K Fund partner Iñaki Arrola in a statement to Techcrunch said, "We truly believe that what differentiates our fund from others is our entrepreneur-focus: our objective is to work with them and to transfer our knowledge and value so that they can build bigger and more profitable companies. We're aware of our limitations, and that's why not only we've brought on board a great set of investors, but also two additional structures".
In the coming years, K Fund plans to build a portfolio of at least 20-25 companies.
The fund also has a group of professionals within its ranks with experience in the technology sector as well as business development, design, engineering, and marketing.
