SoundShare's iMessage app is currently free to download on the App Store but will only work with iOS 10 and higher.
SoundShare, a music-centered social networking application, has released a new iMessage application which will allow users to share entire tracks with their friends over text message.
Although there are many other services that serve the same function, such as the Apple Music application or the Pandora app, the catch with these applications is that a user needs to be subscribed to them to be able to make use of the feature. There are no such limitations with SoundShare.

SoundShare's app works around the problem of people using different music services by giving the recipient of the shared song the option as to where they want to hear the song.
By default, users are allowed to choose their preferred application. For example, a user can choose to launch the song's video on YouTube, stream it through Apple Music, launch iTunes to hear the preview, or purchase it or the album.
The main SoundShare application is developed like a music social network, where a user can find and follow others, create mutual playlists, or view their friends' playlists.
