"Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2" opened its first location test this weekend. Players have started sharing information about the latest fighting game's new characters and balance changes. Baiken
Baiken returns to "Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2" with a new counter move. The move can also be done mid-air and uses the "Blitz Shield" input, which changes her input into P+HS or K+HS. Her running block move "Suzuran" permits her to cancel out and execute other moves, according to Shoryuken. She has also gained a new Overdrive which can be performed after a successful counter move. Her complete command list can be viewed in this image.
Answer
The business ninja apparently uses scrolls and business cards to move around and attack opponents. He can teleport to where the card's location or send a clone to perform an attack. One of his special moves is to summon a pair of scrolls which appear on different parts of the screen. He can cling to a scroll if he is nearby and can execute different attacks depending on the buttons used. His complete command list is listed in this image. Meanwhile, Twitter user @d2ftaxi has shared a drawing indicating the positions of the pair of scrolls depending on the button used.
System changes
There are several system changes in the new expansion. Roman Cancel input buffer has been increased, while the Purple Roman Cancel comes out faster. It is now possible to cancel into ground or air Blitz Shield from a normal attack. Damage proration will reportedly apply to Charged Blitz Attack if the move was performed after a normal attack cancel.
Performing a second Charged Blitz Attack as a combo after the first one hits cancels the wall-stick property. Both players gain an amount of tension during the start of a Danger Time situation.
Various visual effects and alternate camera angles have also been changed.
The complete updated command list for all characters and balance changes has been uploaded by Arc System Works. Siliconera reported that "Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2" will be launched in Spring 2017 for arcades. The release dates for the PS4, PS3, and PC versions have not been specified.
