The shotgun is one of the most useful weapons a player can use in most games of “Resident Evil” and the 7th installment is no exception. Having a shotgun in the game will certainly give a big advantage to the player so it’s almost a necessity to find it early in the game. So this article is all about guiding players how and where to find the shotgun.
Finding the Broken Shotgun
First, players should head to the main hall and find the door with a dog head. Players will see a statue holding a shotgun in the area and picking up the weapon will make lock Ethan Winters in the room. Just like every “Resident Evil” game, players will have to come up with a solution to open the room and that is to look for a broken shotgun to replace the other shotgun. To find the second shotgun, just head to the room of grandma and unlock the door using the Scorpion key. The player will have to face a boss fight but it can be easily beaten without a shotgun. Head to the recreation room after that and get all the items with the broken shotgun.
Finding Shotgun Shells
Of course, to use a shotgun, collecting as many shells as possible will make the game easier to finish. Fortunately, shells are not hard to find in the game and players should have collected many on the way in finding the shotgun. Shotguns are very useful particularly when fighting with Jack Baker so players are advised to use each shell wisely and take the time to investigate every new area for loots and shells.
Other Weapons in the Game
A shotgun is not the only weapon a player can find in the game. There are also handguns and other weapons that only requires a quick swing to hit their opponents. Each weapon has its own advantages and disadvantage so it would be good if players collect more than one weapon to have choices.
