The latest details for "Overwatch" will feature nerfs for Bastion in the works and Doomfist coming to the roster after Orisa's release.
It seems that Blizzard Entertainment is working on to nerf the Ominic robot Bastion in "Overwatch" after several gamers complained how the character became too overpowered during the game's latest patch update.
Game director Jeff Kaplan announced in the Battle.net forum website that Bastion will be going trhough another change and Kaplan thanked the gaming fans for their concerns and feedbacks over the "Overwatch" character.
While Kaplan noted that “emotions run so high” that it can be difficult to make balance changes, suggesting that some "Overwatch" players may be overreacting a little. But after his own experience as Bastion, to which he was able to heal through the attacks of a skilled Tracer – Kaplan stated that the team will make the appropriate changes.
It is likely that the Bastion changes could be incorported following the release of the new character Orisa in "Overwatch". Bastion is still able to heal on the move and still benefits from his larger ammo clip size but his passive ability, Ironclad, now only reduces 20% of incoming damage rather than the massive 35% of incoming damage that it reduced before.
In other news, it seems that Doomfist could be the next character coming to "Overwatch" after their upcoming character Orisa is released.
Doomfist was hinted in Orisa's back story as the villain responsible for the attacks on the OR15s in the Numbani airport, leaving a path of destruction. This lead to child genius Efi Odelade to build a modified version of the OR15 unit, who is now called Orisa to be Numbani's new protector.
But the question still remains thought, with Doomfist being mentioned in Orisa's backstory, will gaming fans expect the villain be the next DLC character after Orisa?
While a Doomfist reveal was never on the cards, it appears he is still being used to flesh out the lore of the "Overwatch" series, Express reported.
"White Chicks" star Terry Crews has been hinted to possibly provide the voice of Doomfist in "Overwatch" even making a mock dialogue lines for charatcer. While Kaplan hinted that the next hero will not be what eveyone thinks leading to Orisa, gaming fans are still hopeful that Doomfist will be coming to the roster soon.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
