Samsung has released a teaser of dual camera feature that will be available on Exynos 8895 chipset. The same SoC is expected to power Galaxy Note 8. It seems that the company is teasing Note 8's features as Galaxy S8 release date is getting closer.
An official tweet from Samsung Exynos has revealed that dual camera enabled with Dual ISP (Image Signal Processor) will be one of the major features of Exynos 8895 that belongs to the Exynos 9 chipset series. Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be arriving in two chipset versions. The Galaxy S8 models aimed towards the U.S. and China are speculated to be driven by Snapdragon 835 chipset whereas the variants to coming to the rest of the world will have Exynos 8895 chipset onboard, Sam Mobile reported.
Even though the Galaxy S8 models are rumored to be fueled by Exynos 8895, recently leaked photos and videos of both S8 models do not suggest that they will feature a dual camera setup. Some tech sites have reported that a third variant of Galaxy S8 may arrive with a dual camera feature. However, there are no concrete evidence to support this rumor.
Samsung is yet to release a smartphone with a dual camera feature. It is likely that it will be introduced a flagship phone. Hence, speculations are rife that the Galaxy Note 8 come with a dual camera features on its back panel as it is speculated to be powered by Exynos 8895 chipset, Gizmo China reported. Fresh details suggest it is codenamed as "Great" and has a model number of SM-N935.
The specifications sheet of the Exynos chipset that suggest it is a tiny chipset of 10nm that features quad-core Exynos M2 processor running at 2.5 GHz and another quad-core Cortex A53 processor working at 1.7 GHz. As far dual camera specs are concerned, it can support up to 28 single camera and dual cameras of 28-megapixel + 16-megapixel.
The specs sheet of the Exynos 8895 indicate the Galaxy Note 8 would be sporting a 4K UHD display. Other rumored specs include 6 GB of RAM, UFS 2.1 storage, iris scanner, fingerprint scanner and a safer battery.
