Samsung has officially released Nougat update for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones across the globe in Europe and Asia. In the U.S., AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon have released Nougat update for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
According to Galaxy Club, Samsung Turkey had listed the Nougat release roadmap for Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The official page is inaccessible now, but it had revealed that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge would be getting Nougat update by February. However, the update did not arrive for these phones.
An official tweet from Samsung UK states that the company has delayed the Nougat rollout for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge as it is currently reviewing the quality of the software update, Phone Arena reported. The South Korean tech giant has not confirmed on when the update would be available.
The information revealed through Samsung Turkey site suggested that the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ are slated to get the update in this month. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ flagships that are going to be announced on March 29 will come loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The Galaxy Tab S2 Refresh with model number SM-T818 is speculated to get Android N in May. The Galaxy Tab S2 with model number SM-T817 is also getting the update in May after the Refresh models receives it.
The 10-inch Galaxy Tab A with S-Pen with model number SM-P580 is poised to receive Android Nougat upgrade in July. Later in the same month, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 that comes without S-Pen is pegged to the software update. The newly launched Galaxy Tab S3 comes preinstalled with Android 7.0 Nougat.
