"Final Fantasy XV" will feature a launch date for the new Active Time Report, motion capture updates and the possible return of Stella within the game.

The official Twitter page of "Final Fantasy XV" tweeted the launch of Square Enix's next Active Time Report on Jan. 30 at 2:00PST in North America and on Jan 31. at 4:00GMT in Europe. The latest Active Time Report will be hosted by Game Director Hajime Tabata and Global Marketing Head Akio Ofuji as the next episode will delve into the sequel's new antagonists the Nilfheim Empire, new gameplay footage and more magic abilities.

Previous reports speculated that the Square Enix will have two different sets of presentations for "Final Fantasy XV" on the Active Time Report and the Taipei Game Show event

Square Enix teased several screenshots of the characters using magic within the game as Noctis can cast fire against enemies, which can spread out when near grassy areas and could damage both friend and foe alike. Tabata stated before that there will be two types of magic within "Final Fantasy XV" and the latest Active Time Report could explain more how this works in the game.

There is also little bit of stealth gameplay in "Final Fantasy XV" as Noctis and his friends try to sneak around Nilfheim base without getting caught by the soldiers. Gamers will also have a first taste of the "Monster Climb" feature, which allows Noctis attack larger opponents targeting a specific body part, GearNuke reported.

Aside from the next Active Time Report launch date, Square Enix revealed new motion capture updates for "Final Fantasy XV's" development.

The game developers discuss several steps in capturing the motions of each character present in the game. The first step will be capturing the animation as they film each movement they make using motion capture suits. The second step will be editing and polishing the recorded data that allows them adjust several poses and movements. The third and final step will be implementing the finished product within the game as they test out the character's movement flows along with their clothes on via cloth simulator and check other things such as SFX and VFX, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

Square Enix has been busy developing and giving new details for "Final Fantasy XV" as Tabata guaranteed that the sequel will launch this year and they will surely make an impact during the Match event. The Japanese already teased two new battle systems that eliminated the possibility of having a difficulty setting.

Tabata added that female characters such as Luna and Cindy will have a bigger role within "Final Fantasy XV" as temporary party members or upgrading the Regalia. Tabata hinted that former female lead Stella could be added back to the game as Square Enix stated that she needed some changes and the character should be handled delicately.

"Final Fantasy Xv" will launch sometime this year for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
