The latest details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature a possible PC version of the game and backstories for Kairi and Xion revealed.
It seems that new details for the plot of "Kingdom Hearts 3" have been revealed during the "Kingdom Hearts" orchestra concert as Japanese voice actors Rise Uchida and Megumi Toyoguchi performed some voice lines for the characters Kairi and Xion, hinting a backstory before events of the third game.
Kairi's lines revealed that she will be undergoing her training as a Keyblade wielder along with Lea, the original persona of the Nobody and former Organization XIII member Axel. Kairi stated that she will be helping her friends Riku and Sora in their fight with Master Xehanort and the reformed Organization XIII in "Kingdom Hearts 3".
The line also revealed that Lea;s motivation to become a Keyblade wielder is that he also wants to save someone, who he referred to as his best friend and has a habit of staring at Kairi's face for some reason, as he tries to "recall" something.
In Xion's lines, its is revealed that she is reminiscing about meeting two people that are important to her as calling her name made it feel she had a "heart" and wonders what will happen if she has not met them.
Xion's memories with them made her happy and considers it as her most valuable treasure from watching the sunset to eating ice cream. These lines could be Xion's happy memories, where she spend time with Roxas and Axel during the events of "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days", KH13 reported
Could this mean that Xion will return in "Kingdom Hearts 3" alongside Kairi and join Sora's battle against Xehanort ?
For now, Square Enix will likely confirm these details in "Kingdom Hearts 3" very soon.
In other news, rumors are making rounds regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3" possibly coming to the PC platform soon.
Square Enix teased that they will be focused on putting previously exclusive games into the PC, and it is likely that "Kingdom Hearts 3" could be one of them, SegmentNext reported. The Japanese publisher already teased that "Final Fantasy XV" could be ported to the PC, and it will not be long if "Kingdom Hearts 3" will follow in its foot steps soon.
There are is a possibility that Square Enix will be revealing more details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" on the franchise's 15th Anniversary this month. The first "Kingdom Hearts" game was released in March 28, 2002 for the PlayStation 2 console and Square Enix recently celebrated "Final Fantasy’s" anniversary by releasing an image of Cloud and Sephiroth from the "Final Fantasy VII Remake".
