Google Nexus 7 2016 release may come pretty soon and fans are already making a buzz and a concept image surfaced online.

Concept Phones featured a concept image of a Nexus phone dubbed as Nexus 7P by Deviantart member Zaur191. Concept image are fans' take on what they think the device will look like.

Zaur191 imagines the Nexus 7P to be a hybrid smartphone, which will boast the specs and features of both tablet and smartphone. The concept designer sports an USB type C port at the bottom, an edge to edge screen and a chassis made from aeronautical grade aluminum. The handset has a dual color pattern at the back.

According to Tech Times, Google will work with Chinese manufacturer Huawei in manufacturing the Nexus 7 tablet slated for next year. Huawei was picked due to the success of Nexus 6P.

Phone Radar spotted a Weibo post from an unnamed tipster saying that Google is already working on the new tablet and Huawei will most likely to take the helm based on what the China-based company delivered through the Nexus 6P.

Industry experts claimed that the Nexus 7 2016 tablet is already in production and will be released in May, the earliest. Other rumors purported that Google will use its annual I/O Developers' Conference as its launching platform for the device.

Meanwhile, Google Nexus 2016 will pack its same old 7-inch screen display. It will be powered by Huawei's homegrown processor Kirin 950 chipset or NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

The tablet will surely run with the upcoming Android N operating system. The dessert name of the OS is still unknown, but Nougat and Nutella are some of the candidates.

Meanwhile, there is still no official announcement from Google about the official release date and features of the rumored Google Nexus 2016.
