New updates for "Red Dead Redemption 2" will feature the sequel 4K ready for the Xbox Scorpio and the Rockstar Editor coming to the game.
It seems that Microsoft's update Xbox console named "Project Scorpio" will showcased its 4K resolution capabilities on several video game titles such as "Forza Motorsport 7,"Star Wars Battlefront 2" and "Red Dead Redemption 2," WCCFTech reported.
Of course, Microsoft has an array of first-party titles waiting in the wings to show off the updated hardware capabilities of Project Scorpio as well. "Crackdown 3" is well poised to make the most of its capabilities, alongside the zombie sequel "State of Decay 2."
However, it unknown yet as to how long players will have to wait to see these games running on Microsoft’s Project Scorpio hardware. With the system set to launch before the end of 2017, it is quite likely that Microsoft will want to publicly unveil it sooner rather than later, but the real question may be whether or not the company decides to do so at E3 2017, or sometime beforehand.
In other news, it seems that "Red Dead Redemption 2" could feature the return of the Rockstar Editor since the sequel is coming to the PC platform.
The Rockstar Editor was first introduced in the PC version of "Grand Theft Auto 5" as players can use to record gameplay footage, edit it, and export the video without having to use third-party programs.
"Red Dead Redemption" already garnered a massive fanbase among gamers and has its share of fan videos. However, provided that "Red Dead Redemption 2" reaches a wider audience, and comes with an integrated video editor to boot, the number of content creators will increase, RDR2 reported.
Previous reports revealed that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will likely span two timelines in its storyline as a theory speculated that the game's possible multiple playable characters could have players switch between two different timelines.
Some of the clues suggest "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be a sequel mainly include the level of technology seen in the release trailer, such as telephone lines.
Further speculations revealed that "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be a prequel from the first game and will explore the relationship between John Marston, Dutch and Billy Williamson.
With that in mind, It is possible that the two protagonists of the game will be a younger John Marston and an older Jack Marston, and the various missions will time-hop between the two of them.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" will be release on the Fall 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
