New "Final Fantasy XV" updates will feature a Timed Quest Ranking, Stable Mode for the PS4 Pro and a release date next week.
Square Enix announced that "Final Fantasy XV" will be getting a free DLC update on April 27, and will offer new game features for the PlayStation Pro.
One of these is called "Stable Mode" which is added to the PS4 Pro's frame rate options and enables players to enjoy the game with a stable frame rate.With frame rates running inconsistently at 40-50 FPS when players select “High” performance mode for the console. This upcoming update is a welcome fix for those who have had to endure months of playing "Final Fantasy XV" at less-than-optimal specs, Nova Crystallis reported.
There is also a "Timed Quest Ranking" system in "Final Fantasy XV" and gamers will have the opportunity to earn extravagant weapons upon completing these quests, though it is unknown yet as to what these weapons are in the game.
Subtitle texts can now be enlarged in the new "Final Fantasy XV" patch update, as well as new stickers for the Regalia and new songs for the sequel in the music player, Gematsu reported.
Previous reports revealed that Square Enix will showcase new game details for "Final Fantasy XV" on MomoCon 2017 event. Senior game designer Takatsugu Nakazawa and global brand manager Raio Mitsuno will give the keynote. Additionally, composer Naoshi Mizuta will have a presence at MomoCon during a "Final Fantasy" orchestral performance slated for the last day of the show.
While it is unknown yet what kind of details will Square Enix will present for "Final Fantasy XV" at MomoCon 2017, gaming fans are eager to find out and it may have something to do with sequel's DLC episodes and other post-launch plans.
There are also new clues on Episode Prompto and the possibility of a new DLC episode for Ardyn Izunia in the future updates, not to mention Noctis headed into "Kingdom Hearts 3."
"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
