The latest details for "Resident Evil 7" will feature a delay in "Not a Hero" DLC release date and a Nintendo Switch version soon.
It seems that the free DLC for "Resident Evil 7" will be delayed game director Koshi Nakanishi stated that "Not a Hero's" release date will no longer in the spring due to developers wanting to improve to live-up to positive feed the sequel had received last year 'til today.
Game producer Masachika Kawata added that Capcom aims to match the high quality of "Not a Hero" DLC to that of the main "Resident Evil 7" game, and needed more time in order to achieve that goal, GameSpot reported.
"Not a Hero" DLC will star "Resident Evil" main character Chris Redfield in a whole new and different storyline connected to "Resident Evil 7." Chris Redfield's appearance in the sequel drawed controversy due to the change of his physical appearance. Since Capcom has been shooting for photo realistic graphics during "Resident Evil 7's" development, the absurdly muscular Chris Redfield seen in "Resident Evil 5" and "Resident Evil 6" would look out of place in the sequel.
Capcom’s explanation makes sense, especially when one considers that this is not the first time Chris Redfield has gone through a dramatic change in appearance.
Chris original appearance in the first "Resident Evil" game depicted him as a an average-sized man, before he undergo a complete facial redesign and develop massive muscles when he was re-introduced to fans in "Resident Evil 5" during his time as a BSAA member.
Nakanashi and Capcom assured gaming fans that this is the same Chris Redfield they know and love from the game series, but it is still unknown what role will he play during "Resident 7's" latest DLC story.
Meanwhile, Capcom could be closing into making Resident Evil 7" for the Nintendo Switch a reality soon.

Nintendo took Capcom's advice and increased the Nintendo Switch's memory, which further increase the speculation that "Resident Evil 7" could be ported to the console soon.
Kawata and Capcom stated they do not have plans in developing "Resident Evil 7" in the Nintendo Switch, atleast at the moment. With that in mind, gaming fans will have to wait for further details regarding "Resident Evil 7" on the Nintendo Switch.
