New details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature possible "Final Fantasy" characters and a 2019 release date for the game.
It seems that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not likely launch this year due to Square Enix's recent investor document featuring major releases for upcoming titles for this year, 2018 and beyond.
Game titles like "Dragon Quest XI" and "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" will launch sometime this year, while the "Final Fantasy 7" remake, "Kingdom Hearts 3" and the Square Enix produced Marvel games do not have a listed release date.
This means that gaming fans will not expect these game's to launch until 2018, leading to the possibility for "Kingdom Hearts 3" to be released sometime in the year 2019 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Game director Tetsuya Nomura stated in an interview that both "Final Fantasy 7" remake and "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date will still have a way to go, thus nullifying the chances of a 2017 launch, TweakTown reported.
Meanwhile, several rumors are making rounds regarding new "Final Fantasy" characters coming to "Kingdom Hearts 3."
The "Kingdom Hearts" game series is not just known to add Disney characters and worlds, but with the inclusion of the RPG elements and heroes from "Final Fantasy" franchise. Characters such as Cloud Strife, Squall Leonhart, Aerith Gainsborough, Zack Fair, Tidus, Selphie, Wakka, Sephiroth, Auron and many more have been featured in the game and new set of heroes will be making their debut in the sequel.
According to a Famitsu survey (via KH Insider) revealed that five names that fans want in the sequel. The choices include Noctis from "Final Fantasy XV," Claire "Lightning" Farron from "Final Fantasy XIII," Bartz from "Final Fantasy V," Zidane from "Final Fantasy iX" and a Chocobo.
The poll accounted for more than 500 votes, and Noctis emerged victorious by a margin of 36. Could this mean that gaming fans might see Noctis alongside Sora in "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon?
Previous reports also hinted a possible Nintendo Switch and PC port for "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon, possibly after the console launch.
Square Enix will announce the official release date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon for PS4 and Xbox One.
