"Star Wars Battlefront 2" will be playable at EA Play next month and players can try Iden Versio in a single-player mode. A leaked information from Reddit revealed some important stuff about the game's EA Play trial.
It says that there will be only two game modes available during the event. One will be a single-player mode and the other is multiplayer mode. In the single-player mode, players will be able to play Commander Iden Versio as she battle against the rebel scums.
The line reads that she received "a highly secret and important message" from the Emperor that was sent to her by a messenger. It also says that "[t]his will be only a demo mission," so players should expect that it will be an incomplete mission unless they purchase the full game upon its release, Segment Next stated.
The multiplayer mode will be a mission set on planet Naboo, where "[t]here will be a replacement for the Walker with the MTT." It will be a mission that comes in more phases, and players will be able to play as heroes. But a limit is set where there will only be two heroes on each side.
As revealed in March, EA will opt out of E3 and instead, it will host their own event where they will be showing off their upcoming titles, show new footages, and announce new games this year. "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" will be playable alongside with "Madden NFL 18", new "Need for Speed", "NBA LIVE 18" and "FIFA 18".
The event will runn from June 10 up to June 12 at the Hollywood Palladium, as per EA. There are exclusive interviews during the event, particularly with the development teams as well as competitive events.
An online "extensive content program" is also available for those who cannot join the EA Play physically. For more details about EA Play, check out Electronic Arts' official website.
"Star Wars Battlefront 2" is scheduled to launch this fall on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
