The latest updates for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature the gameplay and release date for Episode Prompto and new DLC episodes coming soon.

Square Enix streamed the gameplay trailer for "Final Fantasy XV's" second DLC story, Episode Prompto as gaming fans will see more about Prompto's past along with some action pack game features.

The trailer begins with Prompto infiltrating the first Magitek production facility in Niflheim, or as Ardyn Izunia puts it, his "home." Players will have a chance to play as Prompto in "Final Fantasy XV" using a variety of weapons such as pistols, machine guns and bazookas. Prompto can also infiltrate the facility using stealth or go on the snowy plains in a snow mobile.

Prompto will not be the only "Final Fantasy XV" character featured in Episode Prompto as Aranea Highwind will be joining him in the fray. The trailer also featured a new character, who is connected to Prompto's past before the events of "Final Fantasy XV's" story.

The trailer ends with an official release date for Episode Prompto set on June 27 in "Final Fantasy XV" alongside the new Regalia Type-D upgrade, Gematsu reported.

Gaming fans are certainly excited about Episode Prompto in "Final Fantasy XV" next week and will likely get a sneak preview of Episode Ignis, similar how Episode Gladiolus introduced the second DLC story.

With that said, can players expect more DLC stories for "Final Fantasy XV" soon?

Square Enix will continue to hint and possibly make new DLCs for "Final Fantasy XV" beyond the three character episodes. It was during the game's previous DLC update that gamers come across a survey from Japanese publisher, asking them what content they would want to explore in the game in the future.

The "Final Fantasy XV" survey include several options for possible storylines such as Ardyn Izunia's past, Luna's activities, Cor's activities, the line fo Lucis, Ifrit's betrayal, the World in Ruins and Noctis's disappearance.

The survey also asked gaming fans if they want Cor, Aranea, Iris, Luna and Gentiana as playable characters, a hard mode and upgrades on Armigar abilities and stat changing Magics.

DLC producer Haruyoshi Sawatari told GameSpot before that this year is all about giving back to the gaming fans who have played and supported "Final Fantasy XV," so if they were to continue the DLC, they would probably see what their feedback is on the content.

Game director Hajime Tabata teased the idea of having Ardyn Izunia's past explored due to the character's popularity in the sequel. In addition, Sawatari once mentioned the possibility of Luna being a playable character in "Final Fantasy XV" if the fans demanded it.

In addition, Square Enix teased the first DLC VR gameplay for "Final Fantasy XV" called "Monsters of the Deep" during E3 2017 last week.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
