Fresh speculations suggest that MacBook Pro 2016 will be releasing on June 13.
On March 21, Apple had unveiled new products like the 9.7-inch iPad Pro tablet and the 4-inch iPhone SE (Special Edition) smartphone. The Cupertino company had also showcased new bands for Apple Watch. However, Apple fans were also expecting it unleash new MacBook Pro devices. Fresh speculations are indicating that Apple will unleash 2016 MacBook Pro devices on June 13, Mobi Picker reported.
The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2016 will be held by Apple from June 13 to June 17. Rumors are rife that the Cupertino giant will use this platform to unleash two MacBook Pro 2016 devices and one MacBook Air 2016 device, Christian Times reported.
MacBook Pro 2016 will be arriving in two screen sizes of 13-inch and 15-inch. Both the editions will be powered by Intel Skylake (sixth generation) chipset. Since competitor companies like Dell, HP and Microsoft have released Skylake powered devices, Apple is also heavily pegged to feature it in its 2016 MacBook devices.
The arrival of the new chipset will assist in significantly enhancing the battery life of the device as compared to earlier editions of MacBook Pro. Rumors suggest both the new variants will be able to deliver up to 9 hours of batter life.
The 2016 MacBook Pro are expected to come with thinner design. Hence, it is expected to resemble the 12-inch MacBook Air that was released last year. Rumors suggest that the MacBook Pro 2016 will arrive with multiple USB Type-C ports and a Thunderbolt 3 slot.
Touch ID fingerprint sensor has been available on iOS devices like iPhones and iPads. However, Apple is yet to introduce in on MacBook devices. Speculations suggest that MacBook Pro and MacBook Air 2016 models will arrive with Touch ID fingerprint scanner.
The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 with 13-inch screen is expected to cost $1500 whereas its 15-inch sibling is rumored to arrive with a pricing of $2800. Apple is also expected to launch a 12-inch MacBook Air 2016 model at the WWDC 2016 event. However, nothing much is on the purported specs of the device.
Microsoft is going to release Windows 10 Anniversary Update software upgrade by July this year. Speculations indicate that the Redmond giant may introduce Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2 devices to compete with new MacBook models this summer.
