Apple has continued to dominate the market this year. After releasing the iPhone SE and the iPad 9.7, fans are now waiting to hear what is in store for a few other products Apple has in tow - specifically the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro. Fortunately for them, speculations about both laptops have since made its way online.
According to Master Herald, fans are now hopeful that the company will be unveiling their new Macbook Air and Macbook Pro by June. Last year Apple gave fans a sneak peek of their new laptop line around March of 2015, and after a year of being on the market others were already waiting for the new enhancements for the Macbook.
Christian Times speculate that fans might have to wait until June for the official announcement of the Macbook Air, as the unveiling could be during the Worldwide Developers Conference, alongside the Macbook Pro.
Fans are already excited to see what is in store for their new Macbook Air, as some have already speculated that the new version would include a Retina display and could come in a much thinner and much lighter design. Some have also speculated that the new Macbook Air could be as slim as last year's 12-inch variant.
Under the hood, the new Macbook Air is speculated tobe sporting Intel's Skylakeprocessor, which would go hand in hand with an improved battery. Master Herald also speculates that there could be another 12-inch model for the Macbook Air, this new variant could pave way for the Air to replace Apple's Macbook laptops. The report also states that it is possible that the new Macbook Air could have a design update that would incorporate USB Type-C and would be coming in two variants, one being a 13-inch Macbook Air and another in a larger 15-inch.
Sources have also speculated that if Apple moves forward on discontinuing its Macbook line, this would pave way to more cost effective Macbooks in the coming years. Fans might be able to purchase their own Macbooks at less than $1000 than its current retail value at $1300.
Apple has yet to confirm any rumors regarding their new Macbook Air lineup. Fans would need to wait for further word on the upcoming new changes.
