Many tech critics praised the Windows Phone keyboard for its accuracy and ease of use. Now, iOS user can also experience the same ease as Microsoft recently announced that the keyboard feature of the Windows Phone will be released for the iOS platform.
Microsoft said that it is expanding the coverage of the Windows Phone keyboard, and it starts with the iOS operating system. The Redmond-based tech giant added that the feature will soon find its way to the Android platform.

According to The Verge, selected Microsoft sent emails to selected Microsoft Insider testers letting them know that the company is looking for iPhone owners to test the Word Flow keyboard. It is still uncertain when the company will release the feature on iOS, but tech analysts are positive that Microsoft has already started testing the feature on a broader scale and release might be imminent.
In an email obtained by Windows Central, Microsoft wrote, "Word Flow keyboard has long been one of the highly praised features on Windows Phone and was used to break the Guinness World Record for fastest texting. We are now working on extending this keyboard to other platforms, starting with iOS."
The Word Flow feature on Microsoft Windows Phone supports features like suggestions, autocorrect, gestures, and the feature that allows users to type out word by swiping through letters.
Word Flow keyboard is not the first Microsoft Windows Phone feature to find its way on other platforms. Several months ago, Microsoft released an iOS and Android version of its virtual personal assistant Cortana.
The latest news regarding a Windows Phone feature migrating to other platforms did not entirely surprised the tech community. When Microsoft released the Windows 10 platform, along with its accompanying Windows Phone operating system for mobile devices, the company said that it is shifting its focus towards a universal operating system that encompasses several platforms.
With the release of Cortana for iOS and Android, along with Word Flow, tech analysts are positive that Microsoft will make its presence known in platforms outside of its boundaries.
No specific timeline was provided regarding the release of Word Flow for iOS. However, many analysts are glad to see that Microsoft is making efforts in order to make its technologies more accessible to other users.
