"Pokemon Cobalt and Amethyst" is a Pokemon game inside Minecraft
The Minecraft community will enjoy the latest add-on to their game - a Pokemon world which has a complete region, gyms, trainer battles, and even a Pokemon League. According to developer Phoenix Projects, the game can be finished in about 80 hours.
The add-on is called "Pokemon Cobalt and Amethyst". The game makes it possible to encounter 136 new Pokemon. The game is featured in its usual blocky interface, but it is a hundred percent Pokemon experience within the word of Minecraft. A blocky Pokedex will be the gamers' companion, Engadget reports.

"Pokemon Cobalt and Amethyst" was a proof of concept garnering viral success, since the map's prototype was launched in June 2015, Polygon reports. The players particularly remarked the similarity of battling experiences of the Minecraft version to those of official Pokemon games.
With a long-playing game of 80 hours, it takes longer to finish than the official Pokemon games. The project was made within 31 months, with releases of alpha, beta, and a final version since 2014. It requires an unmodded copy of Minecraft to be played. However, it guarantees an exciting experience for both Pokemon and Minecraft players.
The ambitious goal of Phoenix Projects paid off. Their vision of recreating a full-length Pokemon experience within another game is quite a laudable feat. However, the "Pokemon Cobalt an Amethyst" still has bugs that needs to be fixed.
In order to make sure your progress will not be wasted, save the game as much as possible every time you proceed. The game could crash in the middle, so having a backup can save you from repeating things all over again. Though we can expect Phoenix Projects to attend with the bugs and fixes. So far, The Pokemon Company and Nintendo didn't gave a word nor is planning to shut "Pokemon Cobalt and Amethyst" down.
