"Halo Wars 2" is introducing a new villain in the game named Atriox along with his mercenaries. Additionally, the game is introducing a new multi-player mode known as Blitz. According to PC Advisor, the new "Halo Wars 2" comes with a new multi-player mode, which is a combination of the Real-Time Strategy (RTS) and the deck building of the collectible cards. The Blitz beta test had its run in January had engaged game players in different matches both on Xbox One and Microsoft 10. However, the points earned in the beta test will not be counted in the full game.
