The latest trailer for Atlus' "Persona 5" brings fans of the video game franchise back to a familiar place - the Velvet Room. Like with other Persona titles, the protagonist of the fifth major installment of the game will work with Igor and his assistants to bring forth new allies in the form of Personas.

This time around, joining Igor are twins that go by the names of Caroline and Justine. In the new "Persona 5" trailer, the twins act as executioners that kill chosen Personas in various means of punishment which will then give birth to stronger allies.
Players can also sacrifice a "Persona" they do not need to strengthen another. Putting Personas in Lockdown can make their physical or elemental weaknesses less harsh when in combat. Those who decide to put their Personas in the electric chair can convert them into new equipment and items. All of these methods goes with the statement, "power requires sacrifice," which can be heard stated in the new trailer.
In the meantime, those who are interested in purchasing the game can pre-order the digital copy of the title. Individuals that do pre-order the video game will acquire a dynamic theme and three avatars for their console of choice.
Furthermore, the digital copy of the fifth major installment to the "Persona" franchise will also include the "Izanagi and Izanagi Picaro Set" as DLC bonuses. Atlus also offers a "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition for the title's American release which will include a Morgana plush toy, a steelbook, a soundtrack CD, a hardcover art book, and a school bag. A SteelBook Edition will also be ready for purchase.
The American release date for "Persona 5" was pushed back from Feb. 14 to April 4, 2017. However, Atlus USA offers Japanese audio for the voices of the characters within the game as part of a free DLC which was contrary to an earlier plan to release the game without the dual language option.
