There are five main endings in "Nier: Automata," according to Xtra Naughty Gaming's video. The five endings are named after alphabet letters, A, B, C, D, and E. Players need to replay the game and use up each possible choice to obtain each of the game's ending. The former "Nier" game also encouraged its players to replay the game to attain a different progression in each playthrough. "A" and "B" Endings

Finally, ending C is expected to be the "true" ending out of all the "Nier: Automata" endings. It is considered as the ultimate ending due to its exclusive outcome although there is an extreme genre switch in this game's path.
