The red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were recently revealed as part of Apple's partnership with RED. To support the fight against AIDS, the company is releasing its current flagship in the color red. The question is, is it worth buying?
Red-White is not a Good Color Combination

Although many fans want the red iPhone, some critics say that it could have looked better if its front is colored black, like the face of the Jet Black and Matte Black iPhones. A render by artist Benjamin Geskin showed what it would look like if Apple followed the red-black color scheme.

The white color does not look good when paired with a deep red, which is why many find the combination off-putting. Some, especially after seeing the concept above, are disappointed that Apple did not release the best option that consumers will want.
Red is Exciting
Nevertheless, Apple is onto something here. The red iPhone has managed to capture the hearts of some people despite it going against the traditional colors that people have been buying. Previously, gold was the most popular color, then it became rose gold.
With the interest and demand that the red iPhone is generating, Business Insider notes that people are now searching for bolder phones. Washed down colors are getting out of fashion, and other smartphone makers are once again starting to release their phones with interesting colors.
If the red iPhone 7 sells, there is a chance that Apple might launch its future iPhones with more interesting color options as well. Who knows, the company might start with the rumored iPhone 8.
