Amazon Echo Show has finally been revealed to the public and is now available for pre-order. It is priced at $229.99, but customers can order two for $360 and take advantage of a $100 discount for a limited time. The arrival of this device is not surprising as leaks about it have already been circulating online since early this week.

The new Echo Show will reportedly come with the usual specs and features expected from the unit but with several additions. For starters, it comes with Alexa queries that can answer weather questions, help in learning every step of a recipe, and a lot more. It also has video playing capabilities, so it can show news video, YouTube, and Amazon Video.

Amazon Echo Show can also be used as a digital photo frame as it shows a set of photos or as a music player as it plays the user’s playlist. It can even show lyrics of the music at the same time so users can sing-along. When the device is connected to the internet, users can link their CCTV cameras and ask Alexa to show the video feeds anytime they want.

Probably the best feature that the new Amazon Echo Show comes with is its ability to do voice and video calls like most tablets today. Although the device doesn’t support Skype right now, it does have an Alexa App to make it possible to accept the calls through the “Drop In” feature. With this ability, users have 10 seconds to decide whether to take the call, reject it or enable audio talk only.

Amazon Echo Show comes with eight microphones, seven-inch screen, five-megapixel camera, and two speakers. Users who order now will get their units starting on June 28.
