Ubisoft working on "Assassin's Creed: Empire" now called "Assassin's Creed Origins" and will likely launch this year.
The latest details for "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will feature an E3 2017 plans and Desmond Miles to return in the sequel.
It seems that Ubisoft has confirmed that "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will make their debut at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo event. The publisher added that they will be presenting other game titles such as "Far Cry 5," "South Park: The Fractured But Whole," "Just Dance" and "The Crew."

In addition, Ubisoft will “offer up new titles across a variety of gaming platforms, one of which is likely the Rabbids and Mario mash-up for the Nintendo Switch Switch called "Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle," VG 24/7 reported.
What gamers know so far is that "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will be set on ancient Egypt as the sequel will explore the possible origins of the feud between the Assassins and the Templars.
Previous reports revealed that the possible appearance of the protagonist in the new "Assassin's Creed" sequel named Ba Yek in the game's leaked game merchandise. Ba Yek in the photo sports a shield and a bow in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" and he will be a slave in the early parts of the game before he became a member of the Assassins.
Meanwhile, there are also rumors making rounds that "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will feature the return of an important main character in the "Assassin's Creed" series in the form of Desmond Miles.
According to early leaks, Desmond Miles will return to the new sequel, but not in the way the player's will imagine, Segment Next reported. While the details of his return is vague, it seems that Desmond's role in the series is not yet over, even in death his legacy still lives on through various "Assassin's Creed" stories.
Desmond Miles was the main protagonist of the first three games, "Assassin's Creed," "Assassin's Creed 2/ Ezio Trilogy" and "Assassin's Creed 3." He is also mentioned in "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag."
"Assassin's Creed: Origins" will feature a new trilogy storyline similar to Ezio's story and a piece of Eden is used during the Exodus and the crossing of the Red Sea, playing into the whole overarching mission of the modern-day missions. It is set between 1400 and 1200 BCE, during the Dynasties.
Gamers can now control the eagle in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" to scout areas and a new Modern Day hero and already trained Assassin. Modern Day is more like "Assassin’s Creed 3’s" with bigger areas and more character interaction. It does more to highlight the fact that Assassins and Templars still exist and are having a big impact on the world.
Combat has been reworked as enemies have different attack patterns and will actively try to flank players similar to "The Witcher 3."
Stealth is much more integrated in the sequel as players can hide on corners, in crowds, in buildings and in bushes/haystacks. A mix of "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" and "Unity’s" stealth, but much better thought out and implemented. Social stealth is emphasized a lot in the game and players will be blending into crowds and with groups of slaves an awful lot.
Free running is the same as Syndicate/Unity, though it adds in some of the flair from "Watch Dogs 2," a lot smoother and more fluid. The engine used in "Origins" is a revamped version in "Syndicate," but it is drastically different from the previous titles.
Skills are done in a talent tree. However, the differences between the skill trees are drastically different and players can only ever have a certain amount of skills active at one point. One tree is Combat, another for Stealth and the final one is Movement.
Lastly, "Assassin's Creed: Origins" is rumored to launch in the PS4 during Ubisoft's fiscal year, which started at April 1 and will end on March 31, 2018.
