A model of the hyperloop passenger capsule.
The Hyperloop system introduced by Elon Musk will soon be utilized by European countries. There have been newly proposed routes connecting cities that will significantly cut travel hours.
Since the Hyperloop One Global Challenge was announced back in 2016, many teams and experts tried to introduce their own design and technology to suffice the challenge at hand. Apart from introducing the technology, potential routes were also taken into consideration.

After 11 potential routes for the high-speed transportation system have been introduced in the United States, nine new routes were recently unveiled for the European setting. The said route will connect more than 75 million people with 44 cities.
"Germany, Estonia-Finland, Spain-Morocco, Corsica-Sardinia, The Netherlands, Poland, and three in the U.K.: Scotland to Wales, a Northern Arc route connecting Glasgow to Liverpool via Manchester, and a North-South Connector between London and Edinburgh," Electrek shared Hyperloop One routes.
Aside from the cities connecting major areas in Europe, United Kingdom routes were also unveiled. The high-speed transport technology backed by Elon Musk will be connecting London and Edinburgh, making the trip in 50 minutes, according to The Telegraph.
If fully actualized, the said Hyperloop system routes would include London to Edinburgh, Liverpool to Glasgow, and Cardiff to Glasgow. The London to Edinburgh route alone involves 414 miles of the non-stop trip, which would usually take seven and a half hours by car.
The Hyperloop One will use pods that float using magnetic levitation, which will travel through a vacuum. In theory, the said Elon Musk idea would introduce a maximum travel time of nearly 700 miles per hour because of the low resistance.
However, it is good to note that the routes associated with the Hyperloop system are yet to be finalized. Although names of cities were mentioned, it does not necessarily follow that any of them will actually be built.
