New updates for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature more details on the D2 Expo demo and possible Disney worlds in the sequel.
Square Enix confirmed that the next trailer and demo for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be revealed at D23 Expo 2017 on July in Anaheim, California. Game director Tetsuya Nomura will be in attendance at the event and stated that trailer from the "Kingdom Hearts" orchestra concert was a perfect timing for the teaser's release.

Nomura noted that the footage from the "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer at the orchestra concert was “only in the Hercules world,” and just revealed a small portion of what sequel was all about. He added that the next trailer will have a Japanese version and a North American version but the battle scenes were from an actual gameplay footage, ComicBook reported.
Square Enix is currently editing the D23 trailer for "Kingdom Hearts 3" and it will likely be longer than the orchestra trailer. The D23 Expo trailer will also show some new elements that should meet the gaming fans' expectations, and could also mean a glimpse at new worlds that are yet to come within the sequel.
So far, "Kingdom Hearts 3's" worlds include Mt. Olympus from "Hercules," Corona from "Tangled" and San Fransokyo from "Big Hero 6."
However, several writers from Destructoid pitched what worlds they wanted to see in "Kingdom Hearts 3" and in the new demo and trailer at D23 Expo 2017.
These Disney worlds include "Cars," "Princess and the Frog," "National Treasure," "Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "The Incredibles." Other gaming fans want to see worlds from "Frozen," "Wreck-it Ralph," "Toy Story," "The Jungle Book" and even from Marvel and Star Warts universes.
Square Enix will likely release "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the next three years alongside "Final Fantasy 7" remake after revealing the financial results of their games.
The Japanese game publisher listed both "Final Fantasy 7" remake and "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the fiscal year of 2018 and beyond. Meaning, Square Enix could place the release date of these two games next year until sometime in 2020.
The story of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" takes place after the events of "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance." It also starts with King Mickey and Riku finding the remaining Keyblade wielders.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy, on the other hand, are busy in pursuit of the Seven Guardians of Light across myriad in the different worlds. All of this is being done in an attempt to stop the new Organization XIII and Master Xehanort's evil plan for the Keyblade war.
Gaming fans will have to wait for more details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" at D23 Expo 2017 and possibly a release date announcement for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
