LG G5
LG G5 has been officially announced. Its pricing and availability in the U.S have been revealed.
The LG G5 has arrived with a metal and glass modular design. It features a 5.3-inch Quad HD IPS LCD display. The South Korean tech giant has incorporated an always-on display feature that displays the current date and time and notifications for missed calls, SMS and emails, GSM Arena reported.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset that is coupled with LPDDR4 RAM of 4 GB. The SoC features a 64-bit quad-core processor and Adreno 530 graphics.
It features a USB Type-C port that can be used to connect a VR headset from LG. It features an internal storage of 32 GB. It comes with an exclusive memory slot that supports up to 200 GB of microSD card.
The rear side of the smartphone houses a dual-camera setup that features 16 MP and 8 MP cameras. It is equipped with features like laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, and LED flash. ON its front panel, it houses an 8 MP selfie shooter. The rear panel also features a fingerprint scanner that is incorporated in the power button.
The LG G5 has been announced along with a bunch of new accessories that is described as LG G5 Friends. The modular design allows users to swap different accessories on the LG G5. The accessories include a camera grip connector that provides users with camera controls and extra battery life; an audio DAC connector and a VR headset.
The LG G5 comes preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS that is modified by LG Optimus UX 5.0 UI. The smartphone is packed with a battery of 2800 mAh capacity that is equipped with features like fast charging and wireless charging.
The LG G5 measures 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs 159 grams. Speculations suggest that it will be available with a price tag of $599, Phone Arena reported.
The LG G5 comes in various colors like Silver, Gold, Pink and Titan. In the U.S. the LG G5 will be available by April through four major carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. AT&T and Sprint will be selling all the four color variants. However, Verizon is expected to sell Titan and Silver colors.
