Sony users are still waiting for the Android 7.0 Nougat update which expected to bring a lot of exciting new features to Android phones. Sony has confirmed that the Android 7.0 Nougat will soon be released to its mobile devices, including the Xperia Z4 Tablet.
The Sony Mobile team said that they are working hard to bring the update as quickly and to as many devices. The company has not provided any roadmap for the rollout, but the phones that will get the Android 7.0 Nougat are as follows:

Xperia X Compact
A leaked roadmap revealed that the Xperia XZ and the Xperia X Performance would be the first Sony smartphones to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat. The devices are expected to be updated in October. However, the exact date was not revealed. The next devices that would get the update are the Xperia X and Xperia X Compact, which would get the update in November. Next, the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z3+ will get the Android Nougat in December.
Users are hopeful that the Xperia Z5 will not encounter issues this time, as it did with the Android Marshmallow in March. The Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 Compact will likely get the update at the same time. Lastly, in early 2017, the Xperia XA Ultra and Xperia XA are expected to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update as well.
