    Utah politicians declared on April 19, Tuesday that pornography such as online porn is a public health crisis. The state's Republican governor Gary Herbert signed the declaration at a ceremonial signing. Politicians and anti-porn activists in the mostly Mormon state called porn a plague and disease that threatens marriages and can result in sexual violence.

    World’s longest movie releases seven-hour trailer before 2020 month-long premiere

    The world's all-time longest movie with a 30-day running time has just released its seven hour and 20 minute trailer. "Ambiancé" is an experimental movie made by Swedish director Anders Weberg that requires one full month to see. The second trailer is over six times longer than the 72-minute teaser trailer that was released a few years ago, while an interminable 72-hour trailer will be rolled out in 2018.

    A custom iPad Pro designed by Apple Chief Design Officer (CDO) Jony Ive has been donated to a charity auction in London. The special tablet with its Apple Pencil and Smart Cover will be one of the lots at the auction sponsored by Design Museum and Phillips to support refugee relocation. The unique iPad Pro includes a yellow gold chassis, blue Smart Cover, and orange Apple Pencil case.

    Two benches in Wales, United Kingdom that face a busy street instead of providing a seaside view have received the moniker "selfie benches." The pair of seats are located in Porthcawl, and the town's council has promised to turn one back in the right direction due to public opinion. However, the Bridgend Tourism Association has decided to turn one of the long seats into a place for taking selfies.

    AMC Theaters has decided not to allow movie-goers to text while watching films on the big screen. This was after AMC CEO Adam Aron stated in an interview this week that he would be willing to let guests use their cellphones to send text messages while watching movies, in order to attract more millennials. However, it resulted in unhappy customers who used social media to share their aversion.

    Anchorage residents report spy drone flying outside their homes’ windows

    Alaskan residents in Anchorage have been complaining that a Peeping Tom drone has been flying around trying to spy on their neighborhood. They explain that people often check out the view from above the city, but they feel like the drone is trying to case the area to learn who is home and who is away. A Facebook group for people in the neighborhood has shared sightings of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

    Invisible trains to use special materials to blend into city, country sceneries

    An "invisible" train being designed by one of Japan's top architects is set to roll out in Tokyo during 2018. The commuter train uses semi-transparent and semi-reflective materials that cause it to look almost invisible as it rolls through a city or the countryside. Kazuyo Sejima has the vision of the train blending in with various types of urban and rural sceneries to co-exist with them.

    Google Calendar's new feature uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help users reach their personal goals including those related to fitness and skills. The Goals feature that was announced by Google on April 12, Tuesday is available for Android and iOS devices, and helps people fit gym workouts and morning jogs into their daily schedules. It does this by finding free time in the Calendar mobile app.

    Bank robbers wear aluminum suits to trick alarm sensors, caught by surveillance cameras

    An attempted bank robbery in Brazil included aluminum foil suits that were not effective in preventing surveillance cameras from recording video of the perpetrators' illegal actions. The security system was able to pick up a visual of the metal suits, which resulted in the local police getting a phone call. Closed-circuit footage shows the men crawling near the bank's safe. However, the would-be thieves were alerted when the police cars pulled up and left their tools behind including a power drill.
