    A Hong Kong apartment was the workspace of an inventor who built a lifelike robot that seems to be inspired by Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson. His pet project took one and a half years to complete and had a total cost of $50,000. The Mark I prototype is an android that includes a 3D printed skeleton and silicone skin that covers the electronic and mechanical parts that bring the machine to life.

    A ransomware hack attack as left a hospital chain in the Washington, D.C. area still recovering days after its computer systems were infected with malicious software. MedStar Health serves hundreds of thousands of patients in the metro D.C. area. The cyberattack on March 28, Monday that hit 10 hospitals caused patients to get a voice message asking them to bring an up-to-date list of medications and allergies to the medical center in person.

    United Airlines flight aborted after passenger does yoga instead of sitting down during meal service

    An airline flight from Hawaii to Japan was aborted after a passenger insisted on doing yoga instead of sitting in his seat. The FBI reports in a criminal complaint that the violent man yelled at the airline's crew members, shoved his wife, and tried to bite United States Marines. During the meal service the United Airlines customer sat in the back of the plane to do yoga and meditate, then went ballistic when told by the crew and his spouse to return to his seat.

    The Federal Communications Commission just voted to expand the current Lifeline program to not only include subsidized phone and pre-paid wireless access for low-income households, but also Internet connectivity. The household subsidy pays $9.25 directly to Internet service providers (ISPs), and minimums for mobile broadband and cellphone voice minutes.
