Google Chrome is a neat browser which is loaded with a lot of useful applications to improve user experience. It also has several helpful and interesting features which most users are not aware of.
YouTube user ThioJoe recently uploaded a video showing some noteworthy features on the Google Chrome and one of these is the Mute Tab. When users browse for information on the internet, he/she may have to open a lot of tabs. Some websites are programmed to play videos and ads automatically, and this can be problematic. Fortunately, Google Chrome allows the user to mute a tab rather than having to look for the tab and video.
Another cool feature is the Play and Broadcast Any Media File. Google Chrome can play any media file, the user just has to drag the file to an empty Chrome tab. The bonus is if he/she is using the Cast feature in the browser, then the media can be broadcast to a Chromecast-enabled TV.
One nifty feature that many are unaware of is the Google Chrome Find My Phone feature for Android users which is similar to the Apple iPhone's app. The user only needs to type "Find My Phone" in the browser address bar, and it will locate the phone.
Meanwhile, the Chrome Experiments website also allows users to take a glimpse of the experimental apps and unfinished products that the developers are working on.
Lastly, the T-Rex that users see when they lose internet connection is cute, but not all know that it is a game that they can play while waiting for their internet connection to be back.
These are only a few of the interesting and unknown features of the Google Chrome.
